The book of Psalms deals a lot with the promises of God. David wrote this collection of hymns, poems, and prayers to encourage its readers to have faith in all that they do. Especially in times like this. I encourage you all to read a verse in Psalms everyday for the duration of this month. It will help increase your faith and truly be reminded of what God has promised his children. One of my favorite verses are in Psalms 145.
17: "The Lord is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness." 19: "He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them." 20: "The Lord protects all those who love him, but he destroys the wicked."
These verses remind me of how intentional God is during the healing process. He works to eliminate fear and anything the enemy throws at us during this process. He eliminates doubt when he promised to rescue us from our cries or pain/hurt. God is filled with kindness so during this process he will never be mean to you or condemn you for the things you went through. He is faithful in all that he does. He takes care of those who fear him. He grants the desires of our hearts. If your desire is to be healed/saved from certain bondages, he will in fact do just that! Remember these scriptures when you are going through something. Remember his promises and stand on them each and every day.
What is a verse that sticks out to you the most?
